Reactive Cold Dyes

Reactive Cold Dyes

Reactive Cold Dyes are reactive textile dyes designed for suitable dyeing processes at relatively low temperatures, particularly on cotton and other compatible cellulosic fibres. Exact temperature and application requirements depend on the dye grade.

Reactive Cold Dyes are a category of reactive textile colourants commonly used for dyeing cotton and other compatible cellulosic fibres. They are designed for dyeing processes that can operate at relatively low temperatures compared with certain other reactive dye systems. During application, the dye reacts with suitable fibre groups to develop colour fixation. Available shades may include yellow, orange, red, blue, navy, turquoise, green, violet, brown and black, depending on the specific grade and actual availability. Dye performance varies by colour strength, solubility, fixation rate, processing conditions, wash fastness and lightfastness. Salt requirements, alkali requirements, temperature and dyeing time depend on the individual formulation and process; “cold dyeing” does not necessarily mean salt-free dyeing. Buyers should verify the Colour Index (C.I.) identity, CAS number, technical specifications and recommended application method using the product-specific Technical Data Sheet (TDS), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Certificate of Analysis (COA). Additional shades and grades may be available on request, subject to actual availability and specification confirmation. Veltheron Imperial Group Private Limited.
